Fortunately his long-suffering PA Lynn and hotel worker Michael a disturbed ex-soldier are always on hand as Alan continues to offend, confuse and infuriate, well just about everyone, in his attempt to re-establish his flailing career.

In Series 2, Alan is “bouncing back” with a new cable TV show and has moved into in a caravan outside his partially built dream home. With his newly published autobiography and a ditsy Ukrainian girlfriend 14 years his junior, are things finally looking up for Alan?
