Life returned to air on American screens for a second season in September 2008, Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers) stars as the wrongly convicted LAPD Detective, Charlie Crews, in this edgy American police drama. Series one followed the ongoing storyline surrounding the injustice of Charlie’s conviction for the triple murder of his former partner, Tom Seyboldt and two members of his family.
The second series of Life follows the continuing investigation surrounding the conspiracy of Charlie’s wrongful conviction. In a similar style to 24, each episode carries its own storyline, usually a new murder investigation, whilst the ongoing plot develops with each new set of clues.
This series 2 box set includes all 21 episodes from the second season. Unfortunately NBC announced in May 2009 that Life would not be returning for a third season, so unlike other box sets were we sometimes suggest holding out for the bigger releases, this is definitely not the case with Life.
